The High Premium Group represents private capital at Lloyd’s, the world’s largest and oldest insurance and reinsurance market. Our mission is to advance Names’ interests, whether they underwrite with unlimited or limited liability, as sole traders or through group vehicles, and to keep them abreast of the important news and developments which affect their affairs at Lloyd’s.
Use of this site is subject to Terms and Conditions and GDPR Policy.
We need to keep and use members’ personal data for the purposes of our legitimate interests, that is to enable us to communicate with our members, by sending them such information as newsletters, details of our conference and lunches and AGM documentation, and generally to seek our members’ views or to publicise or improve our services. Examples of the personal data that we keep include a member’s address, telephone number, e-mail address if a member has one, and bank account details. We do not intend to keep special category data.
We try to keep personal data up-to-date but rely on members to provide correct and up-to-date information, and to inform us of any changes. A member has the right to ask us to delete or amend any personal data at any time. We aim not to keep a member’s personal data for more than six years after he or she ceases to be a member unless there is a legal reason to do so.
We collect personal data usually from our members themselves, but sometimes from their contacts such as family members or executors. Except where we have a legal obligation to do so, or where you request or agree to it, we do not disclose personal data to others.
Personal data is kept secure in a database which is not accessible to others.
We reserve the right to revise this Policy from time to time.
